iPhone 7 Plus
The iPhone 7 Plus has several significant differences from the previous versions: it lacks a 3.5 mm headphone jack, the Home button is now touch-sensitive and the device is waterproof.
One can argue about whether Apple did the right thing to deprive this and subsequent models of the usual headphone jack but the fact remains. It is possible that the declared tightness of the device would not have taken place with the connector. Besides, a wireless headset easily and quickly entered the everyday life of Apple smartphone owners.
Although the home button has become touch-sensitive, the user feels it behaves like a mechanical one. This is a very cool solution from the manufacturer.
Tightness of IPhone 7 Plus conforms to IP67 standard. The manufacturer does not recommend swimming with the gadget or taking a shower but the device will withstand getting into a glass of water.
The 5.5-inch screen of the iPhone 7 Plus is 25% brighter than the previous model. Although a relatively large screen frame can be considered as a disadvantage.
This model, both according to the manufacturer and tests results is 40% faster than the iPho
ne 6s and 2 times faster than the iPhone 6. Such performance was achieved thanks to a 4-core processor (2 + 2).
The iPhone 7 and 7 Plus has a 12-megapixel camera with a maximum aperture of f/1.8. In previous iPhones the sensor resolution was the same 12MP but the aperture was smaller – f/2.2. The second lens has twice focal length which is equal to 56 mm. Its aperture is f/2.8 (that is, less than the main lens and even iPhone 6s/6s Plus/SE). Also, the second camera is not equipped with optical stabilization.
The iPhone 7 Plus has a good 2900 mAh Li-ion non-removable battery. It is a difficult task to discharge it in one day. For example, the device can continuously play 60 hours of music without recharging or 14 hours of video.
